Talikwo, Terrestrial (language)


Lesson 1 - The most accessible - and with the shortest alphabet - international auxiliary language


Talikwo - also named Terrestrial (language) - is an international auxiliary language derived from Esperanto, so it is an Esperantido. In Talikwo the word “talikwo" means "Terrestrial language".

The phonems of the second column are the ones of the IPA. Each letter of the Talikwo's alphabet has two names, except for “i” and “wo”.

Sentences in Talikwo never start with upper-case letters. Upper-case letters are only for proper nouns.

Accents are always on the penultimate syllab of words, eccept for infinitives and obviously in monosyllabs. Pairs of vowels “ia” and “io” are sometimes
diphthongs. In those cases accent is not on the “i” and it is necessary mark the accent on the “a” or on the “o” with  grave accent (“à”, “ò”) or  acute accent (“á”, “ó”).
